HOW TO KNOW A GENUINE COMPANY IN NIGERIA
The above link is the official website/portal of the CORPORATE AFFAIRS COMMISSION (CAC) where you can personally confirm whether any company you come across is fully registered in Nigeria.
Three simple steps only
Step 1
Open the CAC portal https://search.cac.gov.ng/
Step 2
Type the name of the company in full in the search box
e.g TERTIARY SCHOLARSHIP LINKS LTD
Step 3
Click on the search button
When you search, the following details will be displayed:
- The company RC NUMBER
- The company full name
- The Registered Office address
- The company status
- The date of registration with CAC, etc
If a company is not registered with CAC, you will not see any response when you search.
